Spring is finally (more or less) here in earnest. I can now start transitioning from my spinning bike to the open road, most mornings. This morning it was in the high 40s. I lit out for Starbucks and breakfast, and was almost overdressed. I won't be needing the UnderArmour much longer.
And lo and behold, flowers are popping out all along my route. So pretty. Pretty soon I'll be spooking spring bunnyrabbits. :-)
It's going to get into the 80s today, but storms overnight will make tomorrow morning iffy. No matter. The rest of the week looks good, and I can get some more miles in my legs for our upcoming road trip to Indianapolis/St. Louis. We enjoyed Chicago/Minneapolis so much last year, that we decided to do it again -- with two new cities.
We are already looking at trails and bike routes. Can't wait!!!!
